Detailed Itinerary
We begin at the ancient oak forest of Mata da Albergaria, one of the best-preserved forests in all of Europe. The trail follows the Roman road Via Geira, passing milestones that are over 2,000 years old. We descend to the glacial pools of the Homem River for a refreshing swim before arriving at our mountain lodge.
